The Great Sand Dunes

Working the odd hours I do, it’s a constant struggle to obtain any sleep on our weekend outings. I typically lay in the tent while the missus sleeps and I stare at the tent ceiling.… either that or I'm outside all night babysitting 4 hour star-trails exposures. But on mornings like this one, brushing off the effects of a severe lack of sleep seem well worth it. This is the dunes just before 7AM. I attempted to get sunset shots the evening before, but the clouds were not on my side.

This is also my largest stitch yet. 70 shots.
